Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Owly app and the web pages Owly hosts (RSVP, registration, payment, booking, and photo-gallery links). By using Owly you agree to them.

The app

Owly is provided “as is.” It is an offline-first planning tool; you are responsible for your own data and for keeping backups (the app includes export/backup). We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create or upload (event details, photos, and so on). You are responsible for having the right to share it and for what you collect from your guests. Don’t upload anything unlawful, infringing, or that you don’t have permission to use.

Payments

Owly does not process payments. The payment-request and registration features let a host display their own payment details and collect a proof-of-payment image that the host verifies manually. Any transaction is solely between the host and the payer; Owly is not a party to it and is not responsible for it.

Shared links

Links a host shares are addressed by an unguessable token. Don’t try to access pages or data you weren’t given a link to.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access; no uploading malware; and no harassment or unlawful content through the gallery, registration, or RSVP features.

Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Cloud features depend on third-party services and may be unavailable from time to time.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Owly is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or losses arising from transactions between hosts and their guests.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use of Owly means you accept the changes.
